Hello. We are Annie and Ava the current Mayamiko volunteers. Mayamiko is a children's home that houses over 30 children and provides external support to those who have gone into independent living. Therefore, opportunities for this type of event don't happen often.

The organisation works directly with the Ministry of Social Welfare to support vulnerable children who have either lost both parents, a parent, experienced physical and mental abuse, or have been abandoned economically from their families.

We're looking for your support to help fund a Christmas safari trip that will create lasting memories for all the children at Mayamiko this coming December. The £130 we're aiming to raise will make this opportunity unique and unforgettable for the children. Your donation, no matter the amount, will be a crucial part of this life-changing experience.

The cost: The cost per person for this trip is £3/6800 MK, which is less than a meal deal (we love Malaiwan prices). Although it may mean little to you, this money goes a long way, including a very special trip that will be remembered by Mayamiko's home and all the lovely aunties.

We've rounded the total to £130 to account for any other unexpected costs.

We believe that every child deserves a chance to reach their full potential, regardless of their background or circumstances. Mayamiko offer a range of programs designed to meet the unique needs of the community, including education, healthcare, and vocational training.
