Story
Walking 30 miles in inflatable red suits along the Dorset cliffs sounds like a terrible idea. Which is why I fully support it. Good luck, AV - Lenny Henry
🌍 Apollo Velvet for Africa
30+ Miles. 2 Days. 3 Mates.
On 21st March, AV (George, Jed & Ty) will be attempting to walk over 30 miles along the Dorset coastal path — from Durdle Door to Bournemouth — in full red inflatable costumes.
Yes. Inflatable.
Yes. On cliffs.
Yes. In British weather.
We’ll be tackling steep climbs, coastal winds, uneven terrain, and 2 full days of walking — all dressed as giant red noses.
We’re doing this in support of Comic Relief, whose work helps tackle poverty and injustice, including vital projects across Africa.
This isn’t a gentle seaside stroll.
The Jurassic Coast path is relentless — up, down, up again — and we’ll be doing it powered by snacks, questionable decisions, and your donations.
💥 The Deal
£5 = keeps us walking when morale drops
£10 = fuels a steep hill climb
£20 = makes the blisters worth it
£50+ = we’ll publicly thank you while dressed as a wind-battered red balloon
And if we hit our target, we’ll:
Wear the suits into the sea at Bournemouth 🌊
Give what you can.
Give more if you’d like to see us dressed up.
Give if you love Lord Bath.
Thank you for supporting AV for Africa.
