This September, I’ll be taking on an incredible adventure: trekking to the Mount Everest Base Camp from the 4th to the 15th. Over the course of 11 days, I’ll be trekking for several hours each day, climbing to altitudes over 5,500 meters above sea level and walking over 130km in total throughout the Himalayan Mountains.

I’m doing this not just for the challenge but to raise funds for the Meningitis Research Foundation which is an amazing organization that works tirelessly to prevent meningitis, support those affected by it and defeat it.

I’ve started training hard towards this challenge by running and doing practice hikes, but knowing I have your encouragement will give me the extra motivation to keep pushing through the toughest moments.
