Dementia is a devastating condition caused by different diseases that damage the brain, which strip away someone’s memories, identity and independence. Dementia is already cruel enough, but there are hundreds of thousands of people who risk missing out on support, meaning not only a poorer quality of life, but increased risk of:

- Crippling financial hardship, struggling to make ends meet, and;

- Intense loneliness and isolation, cut off from society, and at increased risk of crisis.
