We give people the break they need to feel and be more employable

Story

This September the Associated Architects team will once again be putting their best foot forward for STEPtember.

Our annual month-long charitable activities like STEPtember, GivemAAs, and ROWvember are a highlight in the AA calendar. STEPtember 2022 saw the team aim for 10 million steps but actually manging over 12 million. This time we’re aiming to collectively take 15 million steps and raise even more than the almost £3,000 we raised in 2022.

Staff have chosen to raise money in support of JERICHO, a Birmingham-based charity and family of seven social enterprises that provides supported work opportunities for people facing extreme challenges in getting a job. They primarily support marginalised young people and survivors of modern slavery. What makes JERICHO different is their combination of vital support and activities. These reduce isolation, support recovery and promote inclusion to transform lives and help people become more employable. We are delighted to be supporting such a great cause.

All three offices (Birmingham, Leeds, and Oxford) will be taking part, with staff boosting their step counts with planned lunchtime walks, walking meetings, as well as the regular run club.

Thank you for supporting us!
