London Marathon 2025 · 27 April 2025 ·

Our vision is a world where every child and young person survives cancer. For the last 35 years, we’ve been working tirelessly to fund much needed research into childhood cancer.

Story

I’m running the London Marathon in memory of my beautiful younger sister Ajala Sakhi

She left this world after a courageous battle with cancer. Her strength, her smile, and her love continue to live on in all of us who were blessed to know her. Though she’s no longer physically with us, her spirit is my constant companion and she will be with me every step of the 26.2 miles.

This marathon is more than a race. It’s a tribute. A tribute to her resilience, her compassion, and the way she lit up every room. I haven’t had the chance to train as much as I would have liked due to life’s many challenges but giving up isn’t an option. I have to do this for her. The thought of her will carry me through every mile, every ache, every moment of doubt.

I’m raising funds to honour her memory and to help children who are facing battles like the one she so bravely fought. If her story touches you in any way, I humbly ask for your support whether through a donation or simply by sharing this message. Help me continue her legacy of good.

Please keep my dear sister and her family in your prayers.
