The Dart10k is the first, and arguably the finest, marathon-distance swim in the UK. The event captures the essence and ethos of the wild swimming community, combining a big-swim challenge with a journey and atmosphere like no other.

Story

This year, for my 50th, I wanted to do something a little bit different and focus on long distance swimming so I'm going to (attempt) to do two events:

6km in July (Bantham Swoosh) and 10km in September (Dart10).

I'm raising money for Level Water, an amazing charity that use the power of swimming to improve the lives for children with disabilities. From physical development to social and emotional confidence, swimming is a vehicle to change their lives for the better.

Thanks ever so much for your support and generous donations

All my best

The first splash. The holding your breath. The echoes of laughter. The wet hair. The lifted spirits. The joy of gliding through water. The smile that lasts all day. Swimming is like nothing else. The skills you develop, the confidence you build and the joys you feel are all universal. Yet access to swimming in the UK is not. Everyone should have the opportunity to learn to swim and fall in love with the water and that's Level Water's mission.
