We’ve all watched Stand Up To Cancer and seen the statistic ‘1 out of every 2 men and 1 out of every 3 women will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, meaning everyone is affected in some way, or will be’. This became true for me very recently so it’s more important than ever for me to do my part.

I’ve always felt like asking for donations when doing Cancer Research runs that I was asking people to sponsor ME, but you’re not - you’re helping organisations like The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity support those going through it and do more research to help people like me, my mum, and even you in the future.

I’ll be taking part in the Royal Parks half marathon on October 8, thinking about everyone affected by cancer and how our donations can go a long way to help. The more we help them, the more they can help us. If you can spare any money at all, any donations, no matter the size, are appreciated. Thank you! :)
