Story

Ashley is all tap-ed out of luck and is in some real deep water!

The Staff at EPS were fed up with his inability to go home, sheer lack of brew making, and stealing all the good biscuits, that they have sent him to jail as part of the St John’s Hospice Jail and Bail.

For him to be released he needs to raise £999 bail money, all of which goes to the St John’s Hospice charity!

On the 30th October Ashley will be arrested and taken to Lancaster Castle Prison to be Jailed for the day. His only way out is to reach the £999 bail target and will only be released when this is made!

Yes, we’ve heard the joke - “No one will pay!!” But this is for an amazing charity, so we hope you can dig deep and help him out!

The difference £999 could make

- 11 hospice at home team visits – so patients can spend their last days at home

- 5 palliative night sitting sessions

- Just over 50 hours compassionate and individual nursing care on the impatient ward

This would make such a difference to any family, but in true EPS style we don’t think the £999 is enough and want to aim much higher!

Keep an eye on our socials for updates throughout October.
