Ash, Paul & Charlie's fundraiser for THE LIGHT FUND

5-3-1 Peaks for The Light Fund · 25 September 2025
Every year the great and good people of the Licensing Industry step forward and pledge their valued time and resource to help support The Light Fund with increasingly bizarre and exhilarating challenges that have to date raised over £2M for charity!
The latest fundraiser for 2025 is a bold challenge to have mass participation climbing Mount Snowdon, with a large group taking on the 3 Peaks Challenge and some absolute nutters taking on the gruelling 5 Peaks Challenge
The trek takes place in September 2025 and includes ascents of Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, Snowdon, Carrauntoohil, and Slieve Donard over 5 days.
Please note that a proportion of the 5-3-1 Peaks Challenge money will be going to the England & Wales Mountain Rescue charity.
Ash's story:-
Having been a part of the Light Fund for many years, I am excited to take part in this next challenge. I am sure it'll be very hard at times, however it is supporting so many amazing charities so worth the pain. Please give anything you can.
Paul's story:-
I am really looking forward to the challenge ahead with Ashley and Charlie. It’s a great charity, that does such fantastic work across so many causes, that a chance to raise some much needed funds was too good an opportunity to turn down, even though I am no hiker….This will be my second The Light Fund event and I am really hoping this one isn’t as painful as the last!
Charlie's story:-
This September, I will be taking in the infamous Five Peaks Challenge alongside Paul and Ashley to raise donations for The Light Fund Charity. This incredible organisation supports a wide range of projects that help children, women, and men in need. This will be my first event for The Light Fund, and I’m excited to push myself whilst making a meaningful impact. Every donation, big or small, will help fund life-changing initiatives. Your generosity can make a real difference!
