I have challenged myself again! This time I will complete a 269 mile bike challenge from Bristol, across the country then to Amsterdam. This will take place over 4 days,
Bristol to Oxford, Approx 69 miles, with 2625 ft ascent
Oxford to Bishops Stortford, Approx 86 miles, with 3725 ft ascent
Bishops Stortford to Harwich, Approx 55 miles, with 1100 ft ascent
Hook of Holland to Amsterdam, Approx 59 miles, with 625ft ascent
This route will have it all! Alot of hills, countryside, towns, villages and main roads! It will be a massive challenge.
Why am I doing this? Young Lives Vs Cancer is an amazing charity, I have spoken to people and seen first-hand how this charity has helped families who are given the unthinkable news that their child has cancer. This charity offers amazing support for everyone involved which is truly needed.
Please give generously, every donation will make a difference.
When a child is diagnosed with cancer life becomes full of fear, for them and their family. Fear of treatment, but also of families being torn apart, overwhelming money worries, of having nowhere to turn, no one to talk to.
At Young Lives vs Cancer, we help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. We’ll face it all together – but we can’t do it without you.
