In March 2023, we lost my beloved mother-in-law, Kate, to cancer.

Kate was an incredible woman—full of life, energy, and hope. Her warmth and positivity touched everyone she met, and I miss her every single day. During her battle, the team at the Royal United Hospital (RUH) showed us unwavering compassion and care. They were not just medical professionals; they were a source of comfort and strength for our family when we needed it most.

To honor Kate’s memory and support the incredible team at the RUH, I’m running the Bath Half Marathon.

This challenge is my way of giving back to the people who gave so much to us during such a difficult time. Every step I take will be for Kate and for the amazing care that made her journey more bearable.
