Story
On October 28th I’ll be tackling the London 3 Peaks! First of its kind for Accenture & London, I’ll be running up (maybe crawling by the end of it) some of London’s tallest towers: the 67-storey 22 Bishopsgate, 30 FCS and London’s highest ‘mountain’ Hampstead Heath.
There is very good reason for tackling this crazy challenge and it’s to raise money for a charity that saves lives at sea. The Royal National Lifeboat Institution provide 24 hour search and rescue services around the UK and depend solely on our donations for lifesaving and drowning prevention.
Every year the number of people using the Thames estuary for either pleasure or work increases. Over the last five years the RNLI Southend-on-Sea volunteer lifeboat crews have saved the lives of over 600 people and spent hundreds of hours at sea. In 2021, Southend Lifeboat was the busiest coastal station in the UK, but it needs generous donations from the public to continue its services.
Myself and the team would be grateful for any contributions you are able to spare toward this great cause!
Please wish us luck and thank you for whatever support you can provide.
