🌟🚴‍♂️ We are excited to announce that we are participating in a charity virtual ride to support Rowan's Hospice! 🚴‍♂️🌟

Rowan's Hospice provides incredible free care and support to adults in our community who have life-limiting illnesses and their families. They offer people the chance to live as well as they can with their illness, from the moment of diagnosis through to bereavement support. Their dedication is truly inspiring.

For many, Rowan's Hospice is a lifeline during the most challenging times. Their compassionate care ensures that patients can spend their final days in comfort and dignity, surrounded by loved ones. Families find solace in the support and guidance they receive, making an unbearable time just a bit more manageable.

Our team originally set a distance target of 250 kilometres over the months of June and July but we then decided to push ourselves a fair bit further and increased our target to 1407km - the distance from Lands End to John O' Groats!

By pushing ourselves to reach this goal, we hope to raise much-needed funds and awareness to help Rowan's Hospice continue their vital work. Every contribution, no matter how small, can make a significant difference in someone's life.

🌟 £20 Could enable a patient to receive a relaxing therapy session

🌟 £50 Could provide a counselling session for a bereaved family member

🌟 £100 Could enable a nurse to visit a patient at home

11/07/24 - 101KM clocked up during a team bike ride, bringing the total to 650KM!

17/07/24 - 74KM clocked up during a team bike ride, bringing the total to 884KM!! This leaves us with 523km left to go in order to hit our target of 1407km, the distance from Lands End to John O' Groats!

25/07/24 -76KM clocked up during a team bike ride, bringing the total distance cycled to 1183km!

We’ve got 224km left to cycle in the next six days to hit our target - if anyone wants to pop any money in our fundraising pot to help keep us motivated on this final stretch, that would be insanely amazing! 🚲💚
