Fundraising for Knepp Wildland Foundation

A pioneering partnership of private landowners and nature conservation charities working to restore a self-sustaining population of white storks in southern England by 2030.

Story

2024 was a milestone year for the White Stork Project, with double the number of fledglings at Knepp, almost 2,000 young people engaged and over 30,000 viewers of our live nest camera.

In 2025 we will be building on this success with an expanded outreach programme for young people and working with European partners to protect and celebrate these iconic birds.

Loved as a symbol of hope and rebirth, it is fitting that these birds are helping to write a new chapter in our ecological history - one where we learn to live and thrive alongside our wildlife, big and small.

About the campaign

About the charity

The Knepp Wildland Foundation was founded to galvanise nature recovery across Sussex and beyond. We use evidence, knowledge and inspiration from the pioneering work of Knepp to support rewilding at scale, with a particular focus on communities, corridors and the next generation of rewilders.
