We are joining hundreds of others all over the country, taking part in the Big Ride for Palestine 2024, to fundraise for the inspirational Gaza Sunbirds.

Si and Kit are riding in Liverpool on 20 July.

Ade and Kit are riding Birmingham on 3 August.

Paul, Trude and Kit are riding London on 10 August.

We're raising money for the Gaza Sunbirds. They are a paralympic cycling team but also so much more than that. They are a beacon of hope for all the young people who have been injured in the Israeli assault on Gaza. They are living testimony that there is life after amputation. Since October, they have been distributing aid, using their bikes, on foot and using any available vehicle. A few of the sunbirds are outside of Gaza and are training hard in the hope of representing Palestine in the 2024 Paralympics in Paris.

The situation in Gaza is deeply desperate, with over 1.1 million people displaced. Despite these challenging circumstances, and thanks to donations, the Sunbirds have been able to distribute essential food, baby packages (clothes, diapers, formula etc.), blankets, duvets and hot meals to communities that desperately need them.
