As the winter months approach, many people are facing the harsh reality of homelessness. It's a difficult time for those who don't have a warm place to call home. That's why, after almost a decade away from competitive swimming, I'm finally returning to the pool on Saturday 2 December to take on the ultimate cold-water challenge as part of the Crisis Icebreaker campaign.

I know it's not easy to imagine what it feels like to be homeless and out in the cold. But by sponsoring me, you can help make a difference in someone's life.
