RNOH making the impossible possible
The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital has been doing the impossible for over 100 years by rebuilding people's lives when they face complex orthopaedic conditions or injury. They're doing things that no other hospital can. That's what makes this hospital extraordinary. But being extraordinary needs extra investment.
The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital is one of the best specialist orthopaedic hospital located in the London Borough of Harrow and is a part of the NHS Trust. It provides the most comprehensive range of neuro-musculoskeletal health care in the UK, including acute spinal injury, complex bone tumour treatment, orthopaedic medicine and specialist rehabilitation for chronic back pain. The RNOH is also a major teaching centre with roughly 20% of orthopaedic surgeons in the UK receiving training using their facilities, with aims to be the world leading orthopaedic hospital with the best patient care and staff experiences.
My dad, Hardip Singh Dayal, was a patient at this hospital in 2019 and again recently where he received the outstanding care from all staff, ranging from top Consultant Orthopaedic and Spinal Surgeon Mr Hanny Anwar BMedSci (Hons), MBBS, MRCS(Eng), FRCS (Orth) to the fantastic Physiotherapy team, Tissue Viability Nurses, Plastic Surgeons and doctors and nurses on the London Irish Ward. After seeing all the great care and attention shown to my dad, I have decided to run 15 kilometres for the RNOH Charity. I will be running this on the 1st of August 2023 in an aim to raise £1000 and would appreciate your support in doing this and sponsoring my run.
We need to raise more than £1million every single year to keep funding the pioneering care, treatment and research at RNOH that makes the impossible possible for people every day.
There’ so much your donation could do.
• £10 could help buy materials for a therapy and rehabilitation session
• £25 could help us continue providing the best possible treatment and care for RNOH patients
• £50 could contribute towards the transformation of our spinal cord injury day room
• £100 could help us ensure our world-leading clinicians have pioneering equipment
• £500 could help fund ground-breaking research into the treatment of bone cancer
Thank you for your support
