Claire's Service Dog

Little Angels Service Dogs · 10 January 2020 to 31 December 2023 ·
Dear Family and Friends,
We are reaching out to you today to share the story of our amazing daughter. Claire is only two years old, but she bravely battles Dravet Syndrome. This challenging condition means that Claire experiences frequent seizures, triggered by factors like sunlight and heat.
Dravet Syndrome currently has no cure, and many children face severe cognitive and motor dysfunction, but we remain hopeful. Groundbreaking research is underway, and we dream of a future where Claire—and others—can lead healthier, happier lives.
Claire currently faces many challenges every day even at her young age. We needed a miracle, and we believe that we found a glimmer of help, through an organization called Little Angels Service Dogs. After researching this wonderful organization, we discovered that these service dogs are able to detect and alert oncoming seizures in individuals that suffer from seizures such as Claire’s. This would be life changing not only for Claire but for us as parents that are on “hyper alert” 24/7! This dog would also provide companionship and support, helping Claire gain a sense of her own independence and greatly reduce the anxiety as parents we face daily.
However, the cost of training such a highly skilled service dog is considerable, and every dog provided by Little Angels is an International (ADI) accredited organization and a 501(3)c organization which means they rely 100% on donations, from people like you. This is why we are turning to our community, friends, and generous individuals for help. We need your support to make this life-changing opportunity a reality for Claire and others like her.
Your contribution, no matter the size, will make a tremendous difference. It will help cover the extensive costs associated with training and caring for these exceptional service dogs. With your support, we can give Claire and others the gift of safety, companionship, and a better quality of life. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation today. Together, we can ensure that Little Angels Service Dogs continues their important work.
