Our school community aims to support Nepali school communities through education. This provides our students with opportunities for action and service while developing their empathic and social skills and the chance to make a sustainable difference.

Story

I am Arin Smith and a student at ACS Egham International School. I’m part of the ACS Project Nepal team that will go to Nepal in October 2024 to work on a school project.

We are raising money to support the improvement of the school facilities at the Ajad School in Nepal. The school buildings and outdoor space are in high need of development to facilitate student learning. We are also raising money to support our legacy scholarship programme. Our legacy scholars need financial support in order to complete their studies and realise their ambitions to pursue a career and help support their families.

I’m hoping to raise £1500 for the project by running 25km in the Chiltern Challenge in September 2024.

A donation of any size would be greatly appreciated.

When ACS International Schools started in 1967, so did our commitment to provide high quality international education and to positively impact the communities we serve. Over 50 years on, while trends in education come and go, our founding principles remain. They’re at the heart of everything we do. In 2018, we became a UK-registered charity and ACS International Schools In America Inc. a 501(c)(3) non-profit organisation, was established in the US. ACS has already invested over £1m in means-tested bursary places, providing opportunities for students to benefit from an ACS education and, in turn, enriching our community. In our next 2020-21 academic year, over 40 students will benefit from bursary places. In addition to the significant sums we already commit, we also invest in campus facilities to enhance our students’ learning and support for teaching excellence.
