The Arighi Bianchi team, are running the Great Manchester 10km Run in aid of East Cheshire Hospice on 26th May 2024

Arighi Bianchi have been supporting the hospice since they opened their doors in 1988. East Cheshire Hospice has been caring for people suffering from life-limiting illnesses. Who put their patients, their carers and families at the centre of everything they do, and their expert medical treatment is only the start of the holistic care they provide.

They serve the communities of Macclesfield, Buxton, Congleton, High Legh, High Peak, Knutsford, Poynton, Wilmslow and the surrounding areas. Providing care, comfort and compassionate support to patients and their loved ones is their number one priority.

ECH does not charge any of their patients or their families for staying with them or using their outpatient and support services. You might be surprised to learn that they receive less than 17% of their running costs from the government, so they heavily rely on events like this to raise money to pay for over 80% of their costs every day.

This means that every day their patients rely on the kind support of people like you to keep our doors open and to provide our specialist care
