We are My Name'5 Doddie Foundation and we're absolutely committed to our goal: A World Free of MND. We will leave no stone unturned in the relentless pursuit of this goal as we fund, guide and enable the smartest, most efficient MND research to catalyse a cure for motor neuron disease.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Aberfeldy RFC, in conjunction with FeldyRoo, are staging a community event to coincide with the opening of the FeldyRoo Fitness Trail. Local people will combine and attempt to walk Lands End to John o'Groats x 2 (a total of 1,748 miles) around the fitness trail on Saturday 18th May. All funds will go to My Name's Doddie Foundation, a charity founded by the late, great, Doddle Weir who died from Motor Neurone Disease - a cause that the rugby community has embraced far and wide.

Our event is timed to coincide with Peter Delaney passing through Aberfeldy on his personal fund raising cycle ride from Lands End to John o'Groats. Peter is an ex rugby player and Rotarian who sadly lost his wife to MND. He is completing his journey in her memory.
