Story
In March 2026, I’ll take on the Lapland Arctic Ultra: a 185km race across northern Sweden, in temperatures as low as -25°C. For four and a half days, I’ll pull a 20kg sled with everything I need to survive; food, clothing, sleeping kit, safety gear.
I’ll be navigating frozen lakes, remote trails, snowstorms, exhaustion, and fear. It’s one of the most extreme footraces on Earth. I’ll sleep outside. I’ll be alone. And yes, there’s a high chance I’ll cry (probably more than once)!
So why on earth am I doing it?!
💡 I’m fundraising for Macmillan Cancer Support’s Impact Investment portfolio - backing pioneering startups looking to cure cancer. This funding accelerates life-saving technologies and brings them closer to patients. My sponsorship will be ring-fenced for this portfolio, so every donation directly supports oncology startups.
