In memory of Doddie Weir
A new fundraising challenge for 2024.

Story

Following on from the success of the Doddie Cup 555 ride in 2023, former Scotland captain, and Lion, Rob Wainwright has set his biggest fundraising challenge yet - All Roads Lead to Rome 2024.

As well as taking on the challenge himself, he’s asking others to find their inner adventurer in aid of My Name’5 Doddie Foundation.

The ask is simple; put a team together and get to Piazza Navona in Rome by 5pm on Friday 8th March 2024 for a celebratory limoncello. But, there is one rule - you can’t get there by air!

Rob's core team will be leaving on Monday 4th March from Oban and riding in continuous relay for four days.

An additional 18 teams have risen to the challenge, some setting off on a solo ride across Europe.

The challenge is aiming to raise £1 million for My Name5 Doddie Foundation, all to fund the much-needed research to find effective treatments for MND.
