This Ramadan, Islamic Relief is supporting a Maternity project in Al Sahaba Hospital in Gaza City and Khair Hospital in Khan Younis. This project aims to provide birthing services for pregnant women (caesarean or natural birth) for £500 per woman.

I am hoping to raise £10,000 to help save the lives of 20 women in what may be the most traumatic natural experience. With each donation we save the lives of both a mother and baby.

Imagine being denied, the most basic of care, and having one of the highest infant mortality rates; for entirely preventable conditions.
