Away from the headlines, amazing people are working every day to build peace in their own communities. After a few years of giving my time to Peace Direct, I wanted to add some muscle. Recently, I had a chance to speak to peacebuilders in Sudan and share messages with others in Afghanistan. I would love it if you felt able to contribute to Peace Direct, learn about their work and meet those they support. In the meantime, I will be cycling from central London to central Scotland, and looking forward to checking this page at the end of June.
