Story

I will running the London Marathon in April 2025 for Birmingham Hospice which was formerly St Mary’s Hospice on Raddlebarn Road Selly Oak.

Having never ran 26 mile before it will be a massive challenge to inspire me to raise as much money, as I can for this great charity!

A local charity close to my heart for many reasons and I ask you if able to spare a few pounds that will help this wonderful charity.

Birmingham Hospice desperately need your help to provide vital palliative and end of life care in your local community.

Last year, it cost nearly £17 million to run our services for 12 months, this year we estimate it could cost £20 million. This year, we need to raise £6.5 million through fundraising activity like Birmingham Running Festival, income from our shops and voluntary donations to cover the costs of running our charity.

That’s why the money you donate is so important; it ensures that their specialist care and support is available for more people and their families, at a time when they need it the most.

Thank you for reading this and any support is so much appreciated.
