After being given life saving cancer surgery in 2021 I wanted to express my gratitude for the way I was looked after by the staff and surgeon's at "Royal Stoke" I spent several weeks in ward 109 and owe so much to them. My journey to recovery has been challenging and even now I can have difficult days but I'm so lucky & would not be here without the Hospital and it's incredible staff. I also owe so much to my family, friends and work colleagues who gave me an amazing amount of support. I was a fit person before this a regular runner and have tried to get fit again. My close friend Stuart Day is helping me train for Stafford Half Marathon and will be running alongside me on the day. I thank everyone in advance if they would like to support the above charity.
