Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I wanted to give myself a bit of a challenge to celebrate my 60th year on the planet, and my amazing niece and PT, @hannahcharlottereilly, suggested running 60 10ks - job done. I’ve made it slightly more difficult for myself by wanting to never run exactly the same route twice….so every run becomes a little adventure, a voyage of discovery…I’m 6 runs in, so already slightly behind, but aiming to catch up when the better weather comes…

And then it occurred to me that I could also use the challenge to raise money for a good cause, and St Richard’s Hospice seemed like a very very good cause to me. They help so many people, so many families, to make the very most out of life. They do amazing work and I am delighted to be supporting them. And in my dreams, the final 10k will end at St Richard’s on New Year’s Eve - or before - watch this space! And thank you so much for any donation you are kind enough to make, it is much appreciated.
