🫀This year I wanted to do something different for my birthday 🎂 ♑️

I don’t feel festive or really like celebrating my birthday this year, I want it to just pass quietly. This Christmas my mind is very much with my Nanna, her sadness and my family’s first festive period without our lovely Barrie (my grandad and fav person)/ the 1year anniversary of his passing. Given these feelings I thought this page would be a positive spin on my blues.

On the 1st January 2022, we lost Grandad to Cardiac Arrest, as a result of an underlying heart condition. On my first birthday without him, I’d really appreciate my loved ones, friends, family or anyone who just follows me and has a kind heart to donate anything they can to the British Heart Foundation, as an alternative form of celebrating another year of meeeee.

My 24th bday wish is for less people to go through what we have/ experience traumatic sudden deaths of loved ones of all ages, through the amazing research and life saving treatments that the charity funds.

(For my closest… DON’T U DARE GET ME ANYTHING- NOT A PINT when I next see you, OR EVEN A CARD!!! A donation would mean so so much more!!!)

I want to also be able to give this to my Nan who grieves his loss so terribly still, just so she knows that the memory of her soulmate will live on. Thank you so much for reading, sharing and or donating what you can and I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas full of self love, care and rest, no matter your circumstances or feelings towards the festive period.
