Every year, thousands of young Londoners are pushed into homelessness and danger through no fault of their own. That’s why New Horizon Youth Centre exists. Team New Horizon are racing for young Londoners in this year's Hackney Half Marathon.

Story

I am running the 2025 Hackney Half for New Horizon Youth Centre, and I aim to break the world record of 57:30 for a half marathon.

New Horizon Youth Centre is a brilliant charity supporting 18-24 year olds who are homeless or unsafe in London. Their services include helping young people to find housing, as well as helping improve their health and wellbeing. https://nhyouthcentre.org.uk/

Every year, thousands of young people across the capital become homeless through no fault of their own. That’s why New Horizon exists. We are a vital support network for 16–24-year-olds with nowhere else to go. Through our services, we support young people experiencing homelessness in London to improve their wellbeing, change their economic circumstances and find somewhere that they can call home.
