As a dedicated PICU Float Pool nurse in the Bronx, I've had the privilege of serving the community and witnessing the resilience of pediatric patients facing various health challenges. From comforting children with minor ailments to supporting families through life-altering diagnoses, my experiences have fueled my passion to make a tangible difference beyond the hospital walls. The opportunity to participate in the NYC Marathon for Montefiore Children’s Hospital resonates deeply with me. Knowing that every donation received will directly impact the lives of these courageous children and their families fills me with a sense of purpose and determination. I am particularly drawn to the focus areas supported by the funds raised, including integrative medicine, palliative care, and parent support groups.
