Welcome to the Karnival and University of Nottingham climbs to Everest Base Camp campaign! These incredible students are taking on the challenge of a lifetime all whilst helping in the fight against meningitis and septicaemia.

Story

We are at the heart of the initiative that is working with the World Health Organisation and leading experts on the disease to tackle meningitis globally. Our intrepid volunteers are taking on this incredible challenge and raising money to help us defeat meningitis and septicaemia by 2030.

Meningitis is deadly; killing and seriously disabling in hours. Small children and young adults are high risk, but all ages can be affected. Globally 1,000 people die daily. We fundraise to invest in research, campaign for vaccines, provide symptom information and support those already affected.
