In Memory of Sarah Bateman

We sadly lost my sister, Sarah Bateman, to cancer after a long and courageous battle with this cruel disease. She met every challenge head‑on with positivity, grace, and humour, making the very best of each day. She was and will always remain a true inspiration.

Throughout her journey, the team at the Olive Tree were there for her. Whether through holistic treatments, a calming space, or simply a warm cup of tea and a kind conversation, they supported her in ways that brought real comfort.

Sarah, ever the pragmatist, would not have wanted flowers in condolence. Instead, she would have wanted support to go to a cause she truly valued. For that reason, I cannot think of a more fitting way to honour her than by helping the Olive Tree continue their incredible work.
