Story
I have now completed 470kms in 7 days ending our ride at Angkor Wat. Brilliant ride! We’ve been cycling roads, tracks and even off roading all in 40 degree temperatures.
Thank you all for your support and donations, the money I have raised so far as it stands could pay for an entire month's stay at one of their Homes from Home.
Situated close to principal treatment centres across the UK, their Homes from Home are havens for young cancer patients and their families to stay together in comfort, for as long as they need.
More than a place to crash, it's a good night's rest instead of a hospital chair. It's a home-cooked meal, freshly washed clothes and cosy pyjamas. It's memories made, shared and cherished by families.
I have chosen to support Young Lives Vs Cancer on behalf of my grandson Archie, who received incredible support after his diagnosis. From day one the support they offered and communication was next to none. I’m taking part in this cycle challenge to help children and families that shouldn’t be facing these fears. Please help supporting a worthwhile charity.
