On Wednesday 8th May I am jumping out of an aeroplane!

Yes I'll have a parachute attached and be strapped to an expert who will hopefully pull a cord and open my parachute.

I'm doing this tandem sky dive to help raise much needed funds and awareness for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity.

Midlands Air Ambulance are a charity I really wouldn't want to be without.

If Midlands Air Ambulance Charity received regular government funding then maybe I wouldn't need to jump out of a plane - but sadly they don't, and they have to rely solely on donations, fundraising and charitable gifts in order to raise the £13m - £14m it costs each year to operate.

I haven't asked for sponsorship money since I was 8 years old for the sponsored silence at school - and I won't make this a regular occurrence....

So please , any donation large or small, I would be so grateful - as would all the people who never intend to need the services of Midlands Air Ambulance, but are thankful they exist.
