Christmas Concert 2022

Hello!

Our Christmas concert is but a few weeks away and the long absence we’ve endured since we last celebrated Christmas here at Viewmount, will soon pass! We’re delighted to announce a wonderful evening of music, song and good fare.

No evening is possible without you, our warm and lively audience! And this year is no different. So tune up your voices and be ready to announce the start of Christmas with our traditional Christmas Carol sing-a-long! The 12 Days of Christmas will form part of our closing set! Do I hear a cry of 'Two Turtle Doves' or was that 'Five Gold Rings'!! It may be your turn this year!

Once again we are raising funds for The Alzheimer Society but in particular for County Kildare. As always, there is a continuous need to raise funds for carers who provide vital support to families and communities. Paid €15.00 per hour, they are an intrinsic part of the Society’s services. Not only are they a source of stimulation and new company for Alzheimer’s patients but they also provide an invaluable respite for people who devote their lives to the care of a loved one.

Tickets for this year's jam-packed event are €40.00. We hope to raise €10,000.00 – that would yield over 660 care hours for people living in the Kildare area, so any extra you can pay would be really welcomed. I suppose you could think of the cost of an average night out with food, drinks and entertainment, and then think of our offering at Viewmount!

As you know the event takes place in our home and we've already had a hugely positive response to our 'SAVE THE DATE' message! We may be under pressure for space so we're now allocating two tickets per family so that we all fit! Apologies for this but its for the comfort and safety of all!

So how can you secure your tickets and donate? Rather than sending donations here, we're choosing a more direct route. We’ve set up a JustGiving page (link below). You can donate anonymously. When donating please ensure you choose the EUR currency option. Monies donated will go directly to the charity. Please give me a call if you have any problem.
