I'm once again cycling in the annual sponsored Ride & Stride organised by SHCT. 50% of the money I raise goes to help repair our beautiful Grade 1 listed St Mary's Mendlesham, which has just needed costly repairs to leaking roofs and needs more work fairly soon- and the other 50% to the SHCT, which organises this event and makes grants to churches and chapels of all denominations towards repair and restoration costs.

It's a real challenge, as I hope to beat the total of 34 churches/chapels I visited last year, though it will depend very much on both the weather and if the ankle I sprained a month ago holds up. (I should add that my bike is leg and cake-powered - not electric!)
