A large number of the population have chronic kidney disease and can develop kidney failure needing dialysis or a kidney transplant. Kidneys for Life is a Manchester-based Charity raising funds for research into kidney disease, transplantation and dialysis and amenities for renal patients at MRI, NCA & RMCH and the satellite dialysis units.

We have chosen to support this charity as a very big thank you to the amazing Transplant Team at Manchester Royal Infirmary that enabled Anne to donate her kidney to her husband Max. We wish to raise awareness of live kidney donation and its life changing impact. We ride for all the kidney donors, recipients and all those who live with chronic kidney disease.

We have covered all our personal costs to ride this challenge and all donations made will go directly to KFL to help them keep on helping others.
