Story
In November 2021 just after I started university my incredible dad was diagnosed with a GBM. My family had a long 2 and half years of treatment, scans and bad news, all while making some amazing memories together which I will always cherish. Dad sadly passed away in August 2024. I am doing this run with some amazing family and friends to raise some money to help there be fewer people hearing the life changing news that they have a brain tumour that is incurable. Please support us with what you can to ensure that the brain tumour charity can continue to support people and their families through brain tumour diagnoses.
The Brain Tumour Charity is the world's leading brain tumour charity and the largest dedicated funder of research into brain tumours globally. Committed to saving and improving lives, we're moving further, faster to help every single person affected by a brain tumour.
We're set on finding new treatments, offering the highest level of support and driving urgent change. And we're doing it right now. Because we understand that when you, or someone you love, is diagnosed with a brain tumour a cure really can't wait.
