I'm running the 2025 TCS London Marathon for Save the Children!

London Marathon 2025 · 27 April 2025 · Start fundraising for this event
I’m running the London Marathon in April and hoping to raise money for Save the Children. It’s a charity that has meant a lot to me and my family since my grandmother helped establish a fundraising group for it in Wells back in the 1960s.
The work they do across the world can’t be underestimated and is sadly needed more than ever at the moment; be it delivering emergency food and medicine in war zones such as Gaza or Sudan, championing access to eduction for children in Afghanistan or trying to combat child poverty within the UK.
Training for this marathon is definitely testing me but it is a privilege to be able to take part in such an iconic event and to raise funds for a charity so close to my heart.
Any donations would be greatly appreciated!

The children featured in this photo are attending a 'Catch Up Club' at a refugee camp in Kyangwali Refugee Settlement, Uganda.
Catch up Clubs were initially introduced in response to Uganda’s children experiencing the longest school closures in the world as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Thanks to you supporting my fundraising challenge, Save the Children can help support children to stay safe, healthy and keep learning, whilst also tackling the root causes of inequality like unjust laws or practices.
Together, we can create real change that lasts a lifetime and a world where every child has a chance of the future they deserve.
Every contribution counts, no matter how big or small.
