☆Edit on 06/10/23: I have decided to level up my challenge! In addition to the Iceland Trek in March 2024, I am now going to be completing a Fire Walk on Friday 13th* October 2023! I have increased my target by £150 as that is the minimum fundraising amount required to participate in the Fire Walk. The minimum amount for the Iceland Trek is £2,990. TL;DR, Prospect Hospice looked after my Auntie Claire. They rely on donations to provide their outstanding end-of-life care. I've chosen to participate in an Iceland Trek to raise funds in aid of Prospect Hospice because they did a lot for my family during a difficult time.

Prospect Hospice were amazing looking after my Auntie Claire in her last few months. They provided invaluable care and support to Claire when she needed it most. Not only were they there for Claire but also her husband (my Uncle Paul/Bertie), her boys, and all of our family.

Prospect Hospice continues to offer unparalleled end-of-life care services every day for many other people and their families living in and around Swindon. All care provided is free of charge to patients and their families thanks to generous donations from the local community.

Your generous donations will help me reach my goal to get to Iceland and complete the trek and raise much needed funds for Prospect Hospice (50/50 split). (Edited to add: I shall be contributing as much as I can too, in order to offset some of the costs involved in organising the event thereby allowing the Prospect Hospice to benefit from a higher total in donations.)
