Please join me in raising money for Tearfund by sponsoring Just Love Durham's "Race Across County Durham"

On the 9th November, we will be walking over 21km from Seaham to Durham, completing different challenges along the way (Race Across the World Style)! Our goal is to raise funds for Tearfund, a Christian charity which partners with churches in more than 50 of the world’s poorest countries. Tearfund tackle poverty and injustice through sustainable development, by responding to disasters and challenging injustice.

Your donation, no matter the size, will help make a real difference. For example through Tearfund's work with refugees:

£12 could provide a family in Iraq with a vital hygiene kit including soap, antiseptic, toothpaste, sanitary towels, shampoo and washing powder.

Or, in Lebanon, £37 could provide vital emotional support from a clinical psychologist to a person traumatised by their experiences of conflict.
