Story
Join me in my journey as I take on the London-to-Brighton cycling challenge! While originally intending to accompany Chris on one day of his 30-day super challenge of running across the UK, my knees had other plans. However, I refuse to let that deter me, and I'm shifting gears to pedal my way to success instead.
Chris Hill is embarking on an incredible 1,500km run from John O'Groats to Lands End over 30 days, starting on 26th May 2024. This isn't just a run; it's a powerful mission to raise awareness for mental health and addiction issues across the UK.
Chris is running in memory of his twin brother, Rob Hill, lost to an accidental drug overdose in 2014. He will honour Rob's memory on the 10th anniversary of his passing by raising £100,000 for The Rob Hill Foundation.
My challenge holds special significance for me, as it coincides with my sixth anniversary of overcoming addiction with the invaluable support from the Rob Hill Foundation. Their guidance and assistance played a pivotal role in my journey to recovery, and now, I'm determined to give back.
By supporting this fundraiser, you're not only helping me (and Chris) conquer personal milestones but also contributing to a cause that transforms lives. Every mile I pedal and every donation received will directly benefit individuals battling addiction, providing them with the same lifeline that helped me reclaim my life.
Together, let's turn the wheels of change and make a difference in the lives of those in need. Thank you for your attention and generosity!
