Story

My Story

I’m taking on Epilepsy Society's Challenge - by walking 10 kilometres with my wonderful 8 year old daughter Ruby and Romanian rescue dog Molly.

1 in 100 people in the UK are living with epilepsy. Three people are diagnosed with epilepsy every day and a third of people with epilepsy do not have access to effective treatments meaning they are drug resistant and uncontrolled just like myself.

Those of you who know me well, know of my daily struggles and how my Epilepsy doesn't just affect me but my family too. For me I learned a long time ago as a person with an invisible disability, Epilepsy is still a very much overlooked and taboo subject amongst the general public and we want to break down those barriers and have people talking more about a condition that is more common then you would realise.

Even if it's just the cost of a coffee that is donated we are beyond grateful!

Please wish us luck! 💜🐾
