I’ll be taking part in a 12 hour endurance paddle boarding event to raise money for water safely charity Above Water.

SUPTwelve takes place in Torquay on coastal water, over a course of approximately 3.5 km, from 7am to 7pm on Sunday 12th April 2025.

I’m aiming to raise £500 which is the cost of staging a Young Leader water safety training sessions. These sessions have the potential of giving 20,000 children 45 mins of essential water safety and drowning prevention training so your sponsorship could help save a life!

Event organiser and charity founder Brendon Prince said: Repeating laps, time and time again, forces the paddler to 'dig deep' if they want to champion the 12 hours. The course, more so than the time will challenge the paddlers resolve and mental strength to keep paddling when it would be so so easy to stop and rest.
