This lovely man is my husband, the photo was taken last spring on a family road trip around Scotland with our 2 children. . This photo was taken 2 months before he died from Stage 4 metastatic colon cancer . He had been diagnosed 16 months earlier when he become suddenly ill with a perforated bowel. He’d been given 18months to live . The only symptom he had prior to this was some indigestion . Although many treatments were tried , none really worked as he was Braf positive making managing the disease especially hard. He was 49 when he died.

Bowel cancer is frankly a bastard ! If I can do anything to prevent another young life being taken or another family going through the trauma and grief we are enduring, then I absolutely will!

So if you can give anything, little or large , please do. In researching this devastating disease we may just beat it.
