Story
On July 12th 2023, Jenny would have been 40. To celebrate, Team Jenny is running the GNR mini and adult run.
Jenny’s sister Anna, Neil her brother in law and Lucy (Anna’s sister in law and best friend, and close friend of Jenny) are running the adult GNR
Jenny's daughters Nia (age 11) Cora (age 9) and Beth (age 6) and Jenny's nieces and nephews Alex (age 14), Harry (age 13), Poppy (age 12), Isabelle (age 9) along with Sophie (age 17) are all running the GNR junior/mini run for Jenny.
Jenny died of bowel cancer 7th November 2018 at the age of 35. She was diagnosed with stage 4 bowel cancer 5 months before. She was cared for by the brilliant team at Western Park Hospital in Sheffield
It is impossible to sum Jenny up, but if you knew her, you would have felt the difference her kindness, generosity and determination could make. As she showed when her son Elliott died, and in the last few months of her life, she could make the best out of a horrific situation by doing as much as possible to help others. Fundraising was an incredibly important part of Jenny's life, and we'd love to continue this. Please give what you can, because cancer can take everything.
