Story

2024 marks 10 years since Aunty Diane rose in glory. To mark this occasion, I thought I'd sign up to run a half marathon raising money for Addenbrooke's Hospital where Aunty Diane was cared for until the end. We spent many a weekend travelling to Cambridge and back from autumn 2013 - Feb 2014. As everybody knows, Aunty Diane was an icon and would conquer whatever came her way with great determination! She would've completed a half marathon ages ago!!!! The team at Addenbrooke's did a great job of caring for her and so that's why I'm fundraising. The half marathon will take place on the 9th March 2025, so it will be 11 years when I actually run! I know she's been cheering me on in everything I've faced and will definitely be shouting encouragement to me on the run - she was very competitive after all!

Addenbrooke's Charitable Trust (ACT) supports innovation in patient care and helps to make Addenbrooke's and the Rosie hospitals, even better.

I am running the Cambridge Half Marathon 2025 to support this amazing charity. Will you sponsor me?
