Story
I’m fundraising for The Brain Charity, a fantastic charity whose mission is to enable all those affected by neurological conditions to live longer, healthier, happier lives.
There are more than 600 conditions affecting the brain, spine and nervous system. The Brain Charity champions neurodiversity and provides practical help, emotional support and social activities for every single one.
Last year I was diagnosed with a disabling neurological condition and the support I’ve received from The Brain Charity has been invaluable.
I’m joining their 30 for 30 challenge and have decided to walk 30 mins for 30 days. This might not sound much but it is a significant and stretching challenge for me right now.
This is my way to give back so others can also benefit from the wonderful advice, expertise and support The Brain Charity offers.
I know it’s a tough time for a lot of people right now but I would be grateful for your donations, however small. Words of encouragement always welcome!
Let’s help more people with invisible disabilities get the help they need.
Thank you.
Anna
From The Brain Charity:
30 for 30 challenge: raising £30,000 in 2023 to mark 30 years of The Brain Charity.
This year 2023 marks The Brain Charity's 30th birthday.
Our charity was founded 30 years ago, in 1993, by doctors at The Walton Centre, who realised that better community support was needed for people with neurological diagnoses.
To mark 30 years of helping people with all forms of neurological conditions, we've launched the 30 for 30 challenge.
Throughout 2023, were inviting The Brain Charity's supporters to create their own fundraising challenge involving the number 30.
